It's been a tumultuous summer. I was picked up by my current school and am now starting week 3 of instruction. Rosalyn is, at the time of this writing, 7 months old and fast approaching 8. She can clap, hold herself upright when you set her that way, roll over going either direction, and smile like the sun itself.
Life is full of changes for us.
Megan has started a new nursing position (same hospital.) I continue to work on writing (slowly, so slowly,) and tomorrow I'm going to see my doctor for the results of some tests. I'm not at health risks, I'll write more about this in the future. For now, just know that I've shaken the cobwebs off, I'm back to the blog, and I'm going to keep going. I just needed that summer break with my daughter.
Things to expect in future posts:
Updates on my classroom and the world of education.
More horror writing.
Possibly a writing podcast.
Thoughts on the political climate.
And so much more.
I've also, sadly, decided to activate some ads. I'm hoping that it will pay the cost of the website. Know that I've undertaken that idea/journey with the understanding that I'm spending more money on the website now because I had to upgrade my membership to turn on ad revenue. If we can make some side money from these blogs, dear Lord, how helpful that would be.
Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.
